The Millbrook moniker has quickly become synonymous with innovative, ingenious, and all-around incredible production since signing to Viper early last year. Making a name for himself with groundbreaking singles like ‘The Rise’ with Vorso and Mad Hed City, ‘Refractions’, ‘Rituals’, and recent single ‘What Now’, the young producer has already earned support from leading tastemakers in the scene, including UKF, Magnetic Mag, Guestlist.net, and more – not to mention massive support on the DJ circuit, too.

Forging a truly unique sound for himself, Millbrook’s productions are easily recognizable for their blend of cinematic elegance and deep, resounding bass, creating an inimitable groove and enthrallment that simply cannot be beat. His latest offering comes in the form of a two-sided single with ‘Go Numb’ and ‘Broken Love’.

‘Go Numb’ opens on a soft note, simple piano notes filling the room as the intensity slowly builds. Andrin Haag lends his vocal talents to the track, creating a melancholic atmosphere as more and more layers are added to the track. Things take a sharp turn with the drop, delivering fast-paced, high-octane dancefloor energy as Haag’s voice cuts through intermittently. This track highlights Millbrook’s ability to control the chaos of his tracks – there is so much going on and yet the elegance of it all is never lost or muddled.

The flipside of the single offers something much more ominous, delivering an eerie, haunting atmosphere right from the start. Things get groovy once the drop hits however, with Millbrook’s signature room-filling bass exuding out from the lead melody. As catchy as it is foreboding, and even a little mysterious, Millbrook manages to show yet another distinct side to his abilities while still holding on to his trademark sound.
